Hi—as we forecasted last Monday, we’re going to tap the brakes here at the Trivia Factorial corporate offices as we move towards Easter and through what has become a busy April. Look out for Trivia Newsletter CXXXV, and the recap to Trivia Newsletter CXXXIV, on Monday, April 24, 2023.
Because you already opened this e-mail, here’s something for you to chew on (that doesn’t count for the Question #6 Leaderboard). Below are a few descriptions of certain individuals whose last names have a particular thing in common:
The recipient of the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite TV Actress for 1988, 1989, and 1990 for playing the character Samantha Micelli, a role she played for 196 episodes of the show.
The person who passed away in 1954 who is depicted by a statue in Sackville Gardens in Manchester, England; the statue’s sculptor buried his old computer under the statue as a tribute.
The governor who resigned on August 23, 2021 who, at the time of his resignation, had been the longest-serving active state governor.
NAME a Shakespearean title character whose first name shares the connection that the last names of the persons mentioned above share. There’s no trick here on the character; for example, we’re not looking for Kate from The Taming of the Shrew. Whatever name we’re looking for is clearly stated in the title that the play is generally known by.
For the first time since Trivia Newsletter I back in October 2021 (and perhaps for the last time!), we’ve opened this newsletter’s public comments section, so if you want to share your answer or see if someone else has shared the correct answer, you can do so there. An additional challenge—once you figured out the theme, can you name anyone else (or write a question about such a person) that fits with this theme?
Romeo.
This son of a famous TV actress and adopted son of a famous TV actor had a notable two-season arc as Radio Shack owner Bob Newby on "Stranger Things."
Romeo 💔 And maybe Sienna Miller. Thanks Ryan! - JSM
