For various boring life reasons (mostly related to “not getting sleep due to sick infant”), we’re taking a week off.1 That means our next edition will come out on Tuesday, April 16th.
To be candid, we’re thinking about some ways to modify our publication schedule to make sure we’re sustainably and reliably putting out free and quality newsletters for a long time to come. Nothing’s decided as of now, but you might see a poll about that soon.
Since you already went through the trouble of opening this e-mail: Remember that recent newsletter recap where we talked about Connections, the NYT word game (that is not exactly an original concept)? There are several websites that host user-submitted sets of “Connections.” Our brief research indicates that PuzzGrid is the best one around, so some of you might get a kick out of exploring that website. Outside of PuzzGrid: For the puzzle fans that read along and want to play an interesting twist on the “Connections” format, check out this one.
For our more casual subscribers—apologies for hitting your inbox with this non-newsletter, but we suspect a few dozen of our readers would check our homepage or reach out if we didn’t send an e-mail at the expected time, so we tend to err on the side of clearly indicating there’s no new edition.
